I’ve been looking for either an Australian front license plate (from anywhere, any time from ‘93 to now) or a ‘93 or ‘94 Michigan plate. (My car is a ‘94 model, but made and sold in ‘93)
I can’t seem to find either one for less than $20, though. That makes sense for the Aussie one, I guess, but that’s some real BS on the Michigan ones. I’d be willing to pay $5 or so plus shipping for the MI plate or $5-15 (plus shipping) depending on the condition for the Australian one. Or if you want to trade for one of my GA plates (not sure what years I have, but I can check) we could do that, or if you’re just feeling generous and want to give it away (I’ll still cover shipping) that would be awesome.
Failing that, I still want to make a blue flag front plate since nobody seems to sell those... Do you know where I can find a small can of spray paint? I don’t need it for anything else, so I’d rather not buy two $4 full-size cans. I’m guessing I can find some sample-size ones for a buck somewhere, but where?

I don’t have any michigan plates that old. I have a newer one though. But why a michigan plate? What kind of car is it?

I had a great exchange with a German dude on CrownVic.net. I sent him a generic set of car plates plus an old motorcycle plate (he’d never seen a US one before), and he sent me a pair of German plates. Even better, since I lived in the town of Berlin, MA at the time, he sent me plates specifically from Berlin, Germany! (Part of their plate specifies where in Germany the car is registered.) The best part was neither of us charged for them, just covered shipping on our ends.
